Craving something sweet, but don’t want to waste precious calories? Try this simple sweet potato chip recipe to satisfy your sweet tooth while keeping you full–all for 100 calories!

Cinnamon, brown-sugar sweet potato chips
1 small/medium sweet potato (one medium sweet potato is about 5 inches long, 2 inches in diameter and 100 calories)
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Wash the sweet potato, scrubbing it clean. You can peel it if you would prefer the skin off–I always leave it on.
2. Slice your potato as thinly as possible. Baking it in the microwave for 2 minutes might make slicing a little easier–just make sure the potato does not cook all the way through.3. In a small bowl, toss the potato slices with vegetable oil. Next, add the cinnamon and brown sugar and mix well.
4. Lay the chips on a baking sheet–greased lightly or lined with parchment paper–ensuring that they do not overlap. Bake the chips for ~20 minutes, or until the edges start to curl up. Flip them about half-way through cooking so that they do not burn.
Happy eating!
